1. Transcription Process
The first step involves transcribing the menu into Braille. Our team carefully translates the text, maintaining the integrity of the original menu while ensuring it’s accessible to visually impaired individuals. We’ll ensure that all dish names, descriptions, and important information are correctly represented in Braille.
2. Formatting and Layout
We pay special attention to the layout, ensuring that the Braille text is easy to read and organized in a way that mirrors the structure of the original menu. We will work with you to determine the best format (whether single or double-sided) and discuss if any specific items should be highlighted.
3. Embossing
Once the transcription is finalized, we proceed with embossing the Braille onto high-quality paper (Standard A4 size, 240gsm, White colour). The embossing process creates raised dots that are durable and easy to read by touch.
4. Proofreading and Quality Check
Our team thoroughly proofreads the Braille menu to ensure there are no errors in the transcription or embossing. We will also check the layout and clarity of the embossed dots to guarantee that it meets the highest standards.
5. Final Delivery
After the quality check, The Braille menus will be packaged and made ready for collection. The customer can add a suitable cover page and a convenient binding method.
