Our Founder

I am Nuwan Suranga Perera, the founder of Prime Braille Solutions. As someone who has personally experienced the challenges faced by persons with disabilities, since both of my parents being visually impaired, I understand their needs first-hand. I have spent over 17 years working with key organizations, Universities, and Government Departments to improve accessibility.

Our Mission

Prime Braille Solutions was founded to bridge the gap in assistive technology for the visually impaired and differently-abled community.

We offer a variety of products, including:

  • Brand new and Refurbished Perkins Braille Typewriters
  • Braille Embossers (Printers)
  • Refreshable Braille Displays
  • Braille Papers, Slates, and Stylus
  • Braille Software and other assistive devices

Our Services

The “Braille Production Centre” and “Service & Repair Centre” have been an essential part of the Prime Braille Solutions.

Our professional staff is fully prepared to fulfill all your braille requirements such as Braille transcribing and embossing your books, documents, leaflets, business cards, Braille Menu and any such material in to braille.

We are proud to be Sri Lanka’s only Official Service & Repair Centre, recognized by Perkins School for the Blind, USA, and Index Braille, Sweden. We specialize in servicing and repairing Braille Typewriters, Embossers, and other assistive devices. We undertakes the servicing and repairing of Braille typewriters, Braille Embossers and other assistive devices in Sri Lanka.

Training & Support

At Prime Braille Solutions, we go beyond providing products. Our dedicated staff offers comprehensive training programs, including:
